This product stands out among sheet vinyl options for its Scandinavian-inspired design, which subtly pushes interiors in a contemporary direction without stealing the scene. The moderate variation in its brown tones further helps to mask wear from dirt, dust, and shoes, making it suitable for schools, healthcare spaces, hospitality venues, and offices. At 6 feet 6 inches wide, this sheet format means fewer visible seams and a more uniform surface, simplifying layout planning while enhancing the finished look of large and small rooms alike.
Shaw Contract constructed this heterogeneous vinyl sheet with a thickness of 2.2 mm and a robust 20 mil wear layer, which enables it to withstand demanding commercial use, daily cleaning, and furniture movement with less visible damage over time. It is installed via a glue down method, supporting a stable, slip-resistant surface that performs consistently in heavy-use settings. The ExoGuard+ surface protection not only prevents premature scratches and scuffs, but also provides additional stain resistance, supporting easier upkeep through routine cleaning protocols. FloorScore certification further ensures the flooring meets strict indoor air quality standards, relevant for schools, hospitals, and other sensitive environments.
This Inhabit Sheet series from Shaw Contract is manufactured in the USA and carries a 15-year commercial warranty, providing confidence for project managers and building owners tracking long-term investments in facility maintenance and quality. The substantial length of each roll at 69 feet supports seamless coverage for extended areas, but is easily cut down to accommodate custom room sizes or complex layouts. The combination of advanced surface technology, durability, and broad color variation gives you the flexibility to deploy this product in waiting rooms, corridors, classrooms, and break areas without second-guessing its suitability.
Available by the square foot, you can order just the right amount for your space-reducing waste while ensuring a professional fit. Installation is handled efficiently by experienced contractors familiar with glue-down vinyl, which further helps minimize project downtime. Care after installation is simple-most stains and spills can be managed with a damp mop and standard commercial cleaning supplies, thanks to the robust wear layer and surface guard.
