This cone pre-filter is an essential accessory for maple syrup makers using cone or Orlon filter bags. By placing the disposable paper prefilter inside your cone filter, you significantly extend the life of your primary filter bag and improve your syrup production workflow. The prefilter captures larger particles and sediment before they reach your main filter, allowing you to process more syrup before the filter becomes clogged and requires cleaning or replacement.
Using a prefilter reduces the frequency of filter maintenance, saving time and money over the course of your tapping season.
