The Leviton AGTR1-KW SmartlockPro is a dual function outlet that combines Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) and Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protection in a single device. This outlet protects against two distinct electrical hazards: arc faults that can cause electrical fires, and ground faults that can cause dangerous electrical shocks. By combining both safety functions into one compact outlet, you get comprehensive electrical protection without needing multiple devices.
The SmartlockPro features a tamper-resistant design and is particularly beneficial in high-risk areas such as kitchens and laundry rooms, where the potential for electrical hazards is greater. The white finish provides a clean appearance suitable for residential installations.
