This Selkirk pipe collar is a round gas vent fitting designed for venting gas-fired appliances, water heaters, furnaces, and stoves. The double-wall construction with a built-in air space provides permanent insulation, keeping the inner pipe hot while the outer pipe remains relatively cool. Beyond its venting function, the collar serves as a firestop to help block fire transmission and offers a decorative, finished appearance where the vent passes through walls or ceilings.
The collar features 28-gauge galvanized steel on the outside with an aluminum inner liner. It is certified to meet NFPA 211 and UL 441 safety standards, ensuring compliance with industry requirements for gas vent systems. The 4-inch vent hole accommodates standard vent pipe sizes and is compatible with many gas appliances, making it a versatile solution for venting installations.
