Permatex Ultra Black RTV Silicone Gasket Maker is a fast-curing room temperature vulcanizing sealant designed to create reliable gaskets on metal, glass, and ceramic surfaces. This gasket material is ideal for automotive applications where OEM-spec performance and extended drivetrain warranty compliance are essential, making it a trusted choice for both professional mechanics and do-it-yourself repairs.
The ultra black color matches OEM gasket standards for a seamless factory appearance. Because it is completely noncorrosive on oily surfaces, oil, transmission fluid, and gear lube cannot compromise the seal. The formula is sensor-safe, meaning it protects electronic sensors and ignition components without degradation, while remaining low odor and resistant to shop fluids and vibration.
