Top Selling Tarkett Melodia Medium Grey 717 Homogeneous Vinyl 6.56′ Wide delivers a consistent, high-traffic solution in commercial settings that require lasting style and practical installation. The 6 feet 6 inches width makes coverage of large areas straightforward, with fewer seams and a cleaner overall look-an important advantage when you’re managing spaces like healthcare corridors, classrooms, or office floors where continuous appearance matters. The 2 mm thickness balances durability for rolling loads and foot traffic with low maintenance needs, all finished with a UV-cured polyurethane surface to help resist scratches and stains over time.
This homogeneous sheet vinyl uses a non-directional pattern in a medium gray shade, which is about the safest bet for blending into just about any institutional palette-neutral, unobtrusive, and versatile. Adhesion is glue-down, offering a secure, permanent bond that can handle the daily pressure of equipment or moveable partitions, while simplifying ongoing maintenance routines. The intended use is commercial-grade, backed by a 10-year warranty and produced under strict standards in the United States, giving facilities managers peace of mind about both product origin and performance claims.
Melodia’s strong suit is its straightforward installation and longevity. With uniform color and construction throughout the wear layer, scratches and minor scuffs are less visible than on printed-wear-layer vinyls, so cleaning crews aren’t tasked with constant spot-treatments or worrying about aesthetic inconsistencies developing over time. That also means budget-conscious refits won’t have to worry about mismatching tiles or planks; sheet goods in standard widths keep it simple during initial installation or future repairs.
The medium grey version suits modern commercial interiors where you want flooring that doesn’t distract but also won’t look outdated in five years. Backed by a decade-long commercial warranty, the blend of appearance retention and heavy-use resilience is clear. If you need a resilient floor that can handle the chaos of healthcare or education settings while maintaining a uniform look, this is about as practical as it gets.
