Top Selling Tarkett Johnsonite Melodia Medium Grey 717 Vinyl 24 x 24 Tile is built around delivering consistent performance for uninterrupted commercial use. With its homogeneous construction, this tile is designed to hold up in high-traffic spaces where cleaning and longevity are daily priorities, and maintenance can’t be a guessing game.
The tile covers 24 by 24 inches, offering a uniform medium grey shade that works across a wide palette of interior schemes. At 2 mm thick, it lands right in that practical space where it’s sturdy underfoot but doesn’t add unnecessary bulk-useful for retrofits or larger projects where transitions and leveling matter. And with a 10-year commercial warranty, you’re buying predictability, not just product.
Stain resistance and scratch resistance are both built in from the start, not just an afterthought. If you deal with scuffs from carts, spills during the lunch hour, or rolling office furniture, it’s the kind of detail that keeps a facility manager from fighting daily spot stains or surface marks. The medium grey reads as neutral without feeling cold, and hides dirt better than lighter tones while still reflecting enough light for brighter, more open spaces.
Installation is straightforward with glue down as the required method, ensuring a secure fit that avoids shifting or buckling over time. Whether you’re working on healthcare, retail, or education projects, glued installation means you get a cohesive surface, even under rolling loads. Tarkett’s quality control on the Melodia line means you’re choosing a tile with consistent color from box to box, so large rooms don’t end up with patchwork shades.
This tile is manufactured in the USA, giving peace of mind on material sourcing and freight timelines. Cost savings through durability are clear: when a product holds up this well under a 10-year guarantee, replacement cycles get longer, and floor budgets stretch further.
