Premium Choice Tarkett Johnsonite iQ Optima Dark Sand 807 Vinyl 24 x 24 Tile was designed around the specifics of high-performance commercial flooring, offering a practical solution that balances appearance with function. The 24-inch by 24-inch square profile gives you broad coverage per tile-an obvious advantage when you’re specifying for large-scale installations or seeking to minimize seams.
This tile comes in a subdued gray shade called Dark Sand 807, a neutral tone that reads professional in most spaces and holds its own against day-to-day scuffs and foot traffic. At 2 mm thick, it’s unmistakably durable but thin enough that transitions to other flooring feel minimal-no lip, no abrupt height changes. The homogeneous construction means that wear doesn’t affect the color or pattern integrity; the look you start with holds out as you move from year one into the next.
You’ll find slip resistance built into the material-no special surface treatment or fragile coatings to monitor. It’s true glue-down installation, so it stays where it’s put, and the 10-year commercial warranty backs up the longevity claim without hedging. Every piece shipped out under this line is made in the USA, which some buyers count as essential for certain projects.
If you’re searching for value, Tarkett’s iQ Optima series is easy to specify for tight budgets that need performance over promotion. It’s not about chasing trends or novelty patterns-just a reliable, uniform tile that works in healthcare, office, classroom, and a dozen other environments where you don’t want to revisit the flooring decision for another decade.
