Place an Order on Tarkett iQ Optima Dark Blue 869 Homogeneous Vinyl 6.56′ Wide if you need solid commercial flooring with a strong visual anchor. The first thing you notice is the color: a dark, saturated blue that holds up well in larger spaces and projects a modern look without feeling cold or clinical. This sheet vinyl comes in at 6 feet 6 inches wide and stretches up to 82 feet 7 inches long – so you have true flexibility for covering broad hallways or rooms with fewer seams to worry about.
Durability isn’t just a buzzword here. At a 2 mm thickness, this homogeneous vinyl is built for environments where daily foot traffic is a given. The iQ PUR finish means upkeep is mostly about dry buffing – there’s no wax involved, even for periodic restoration. Over time, that adds up to real savings on maintenance labor and products. You get a 20-year commercial warranty, which speaks more to Tarkett’s manufacturing standards than marketing optimism. Being made in the USA, you also have regulatory confidence for projects demanding domestic sourcing or specific commercial certifications.
The glue-down installation format isn’t the fastest route, but it’s the right choice for heavy commercial and industrial applications. Secure fit means fewer concerns about edge curling or shifting, especially in facilities where carts, wheelchairs, or cleaning equipment are in constant rotation. Directional patterning creates subtle movement across the floor, breaking up what could otherwise feel like a monolithic surface. This keeps the aesthetic sharp without sacrificing ease of cleaning – a quick sweep or mop is usually enough to bring it back to looking presentable.
If you need a high-traffic solution with a clear, uniform color that endures daily use and is easy to restore without specialized equipment, this is a practical choice. All vinyl is sold per square foot, so you only pay for the coverage you need.
