Shop The Number One Tarkett iQ Granit Warm Concrete 297 Homogeneous Vinyl 6.56′ Wide is designed for demanding commercial spaces where durability isn’t optional. This is real commercial-grade sheet vinyl, coming in at a full 6 feet 6 inches wide and just 2 mm thick-a profile that works for heavy commercial traffic and heavy industrial environments alike. The Warm Concrete 297 color is a muted gray with a directional pattern, which means it hides scuffs and general wear far better than most plain finishes. You won’t have to micromanage the look throughout the week, and for a lot of facilities, that alone justifies the choice.
There’s no wax required for upkeep because the surface is finished with the new iQ PUR formulation. Routine maintenance is limited to dry-buff restoration, and the stain and abrasion resistance is consistent across the whole thickness, which is the mark of true homogeneous construction-every millimeter is built to take a beating. It’s made in the USA, and you’re looking at a 20-year commercial warranty, so you don’t have to budget for frequent replacement or spot repairs. At 82 feet, 7 inches in length per roll, installations are fast and you won’t end up with as many seams as you would in tile layouts, which contributes to overall cleanability.
If you’re set on glue-down installation, this material holds tight and stays put-no buckling or movement. The full-particulate build isn’t only about wear, though; it achieves a more substantial underfoot feel compared to thinner flooring that creases and shows imperfections quickly. iQ Granit is part of Tarkett’s line focused on longevity in applications like hospitals, schools, laboratories, and other heavy-use interiors. You get more than basic reliability-features like stain repellency mean the floor works for you, not the other way around.
Manufacturing is stateside, so you’re supporting US operations and minimizing import delays. If you’re pricing out commercial flooring upgrades or specifying for an institutional build, you’ll notice this product is often more cost-effective per square foot than importing high-wear vinyl from overseas.
