Guaranteed Savings Tarkett iQ Granit Pastel Blue 342 Homogeneous Vinyl 6.56′ Wide is a practical flooring choice when you want a consistent finish, strong wear resistance, and straightforward maintenance in a large-scale commercial setting. This is a homogeneous vinyl sheet-meaning the color and performance properties are present throughout the entire 2 mm thickness, not just the surface-so it stands up better over years of rolling chairs, equipment, foot traffic, and stains than most composite flooring. When you’re specifying for healthcare corridors, education spaces, or labs, this construction detail genuinely matters.
What sets this Tarkett iQ Granit Pastel Blue 342 sheet apart is the expansive width: 6 feet 6 inches translates to fewer seams, so you’re minimizing points for dirt buildup and moisture intrusion. Each roll stretches out to a length of 82 feet 7 inches, making it practical for longer rooms and open-concept areas where you want a cohesive visual run. You’re minimizing pattern interruption and giving installers enough material to cut custom runs, especially in institutional environments where uniformity is essential.
The finish and texture on this product also make a difference for busy operations. Tarkett’s iQ PUR coating is a dry-buff-only, no-wax surface, which means routine maintenance is as simple as it gets for janitorial teams. Scratches and scuffs are less noticeable thanks to the subtle directional pattern in the Pastel Blue 342, which was developed specifically to diffuse light and carry a modern, unobtrusive look. This tonal blue is a versatile option that feels calm in educational or healthcare settings without being clinical or cold, and it can support a range of existing color palettes for renovation work.
Durability is always top of mind for facilities teams, and heavy commercial and industrial use is right in this floor’s wheelhouse. Stain resistance is integrated throughout the wear layer, not just on the top-so cleaning up accidental spills or regular disinfecting cycles won’t leave marks behind. Its abrasion resistance means it handles daily wheeled traffic and footfall without early dulling. The 20-year commercial warranty backs up what you see with long-term coverage, something not every vinyl product in this segment can claim.
Adhesion is standard glue-down, a method that ensures the sheet lies flat without drifting, bubbling, or stretching as years pass. If you’re retrofitting an existing space or new construction, this format offers a predictable, repeatable installation process and tight seams. Consistency across the material is tangible-cut edges retain integrity, and any restoration happens with basic dry buffing, not time-consuming recoating. There’s no guesswork about how this floor will look in ten years because the core and surface are unified.
