The Franklin Sports 5487 is a soft-cushion volleyball designed for beach and indoor play. Its non-sting sponge cover provides a comfortable, tacky surface that reduces hand fatigue while delivering superior grip for serves, passes, and spikes. The durable butyl bladder core ensures long-lasting air retention and puncture resistance, so the ball stays game-ready through countless matches and practice sessions.
Whether you’re a casual player enjoying weekend beach games or training seriously, this volleyball offers the balanced weight and consistent bounce of a regulation ball. The machine-stitched seams withstand rigorous play and harsh sand conditions, while the sponge-foam PVC exterior resists abrasion and UV exposure to extend the ball’s lifespan on sunny courts.
