Sheetrock Brand Easy Sand 5 is a lightweight, setting-type joint compound formulated for fast drywall and plaster repairs. This powder compound is ideal for heavy fills on drywall interiors, exterior ceiling boards, and plaster surfaces. The rapid five-minute setting time helps you complete repairs quickly and meet tight deadlines, making it perfect for both professional contractors and first-time renovators tackling substantial wall repairs.
Easy Sand 5 delivers superior performance through low shrinkage and excellent bond strength. The compound sands easily for fast, smooth finishing similar to ready-mixed all-purpose products, and resists humidity so it can be applied in damp conditions for same-day joint finishing and faster project completion. Its lightweight formulation makes it easier to handle than conventional-weight setting-type compounds.
