Class 1 Protection Over Concrete
Concrete is never fully dry. Moisture vapor migrating up through the slab is the leading cause of cupping, warping, and adhesive failure in floating floors — and the most common warranty exclusion. At 6 mil, Moisture Barricade meets Class 1 vapor barrier requirements above, on, and below grade, satisfying the moisture protection most flooring manufacturers require over concrete.
Sealed Seams, Built In
Each roll features an integrated adhesive strip that joins sheets edge to edge, sealing the seams without separate tape. Roll it out, overlap, press, done — a continuous moisture barrier across the whole slab in minutes.
The Layer That Works With Everything
Moisture Barricade is the universal add-on: pair it with any standard foam underlayment for a second line of moisture defense, or use it solo under flooring that already has a pre-attached pad — including SPC and WPC rigid core planks over concrete, where added foam isn’t allowed but moisture protection still is. If your floor has the cushion built in, this is the moisture layer it’s missing.
Big Coverage, Small Price
One roll unfolds to 12′ x 25′ — 300 square feet of protection — so most rooms are covered with a single roll and a basement or whole condo with two or three. It cuts with a utility knife, weighs next to nothing, and costs a fraction of what slab moisture damage does.
Where it works best:
- Under floating SPC/WPC vinyl plank over concrete slabs
- Under laminate and engineered wood — with underlayment or pre-attached pad
- Basements and on/below-grade concrete
