The Leviton R55-00287-00E is a commercial-grade electrical plug designed for range and dryer cords that require reliable, secure connections at high amperage. This 3-pole, 3-wire plug accommodates both 30 and 50 amp circuits, making it suitable for heavy-duty appliances in residential or commercial settings. The plug features interchangeable neutral prongs—an L-prong for 30A and a flat prong for 50A—allowing you to adapt to different circuit requirements without purchasing additional adapters.
Built for demanding use, this plug is moisture, chemical, and abuse-resistant, performing well both indoors and outdoors. The deep-slotted, backed-out terminal screws draw wire clamps securely over stripped leads for maximum conductivity. It is rated for operation at both 125V and 250V across 30A and 50A configurations.
