- Surface Preparation
Allow the newly painted artwork to thoroughly cure before applying MuralShield. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants. - Apply MuralShield
Apply a first coat, lightly misted (fog coat) using using an airless spray gun (515 spray tip recommended), HVLP, or acetone rated compression sprayer. Apply two to three generous coats, allowing at least 20-30 minutes of drying time between coats. Make sure to overlap your passes to ensure a thorough coating. - Graffiti Protection
For comprehensive graffiti resistance, apply World’s Best Graffiti Coating over the cured MuralShield Matte. This combination creates a sacrificial barrier that allows for easy removal of graffiti without damaging the underlying mural.
