Benefit from Mohawk Stones 2.5 Tinsmith Living Local Vinyl 12 inch is built for spaces that need flooring to stand up to daily wear and tear, without sacrificing visual appeal. The 24 inch by 12 inch size means fewer seams across the floor, leading to a smoother, more consistent finish throughout any room. The Tinsmith shade sits squarely in a modern gray, offering a versatile backdrop for a range of interior themes commonly found in commercial settings.
This vinyl flooring is constructed to handle high foot traffic, frequent cleaning, and the ongoing movement of carts or equipment. With a thickness of 2.5 mm and a tough 20 mil wear layer, the surface resists scratches and marks, extending the lifespan of the floor for years even in busy environments. The squared edge profile helps each piece fit together cleanly, keeping lines sharp and installation straightforward for professionals managing time-sensitive projects. The stone-inspired texture on the surface offers visual interest and helps conceal minor scuffs that appear over time.
Installation is glue-down only, ensuring the floor stays firmly in place in environments where stability is essential. Matching accessories such as M700 Vinyl Adhesive, M160 Spray Adhesive, stair treads, reducers, and T-moldings are available, making it easier to finish edges precisely and transition between different areas without visual breaks. There is no attached pad, so the material sits low to the subfloor – ideal for spaces where a shallow profile is a must or when pairing with other materials in adjoining rooms.
The Mohawk Stones series includes a 20-year residential warranty, reflecting confidence in the vinyl’s ability to maintain its quality and appearance over time.
