The Little Giant EB13 Egg Basket is a large-capacity wire basket designed for collecting and carrying eggs from poultry and game birds. This basket simplifies daily egg collection and transport from coop to storage, making it an essential tool for backyard and larger poultry operations alike.
The basket’s open wire design serves multiple purposes beyond collection. Eggs can cool quickly after gathering, and the basket is easy to wash and dry between uses. The welded wire construction lets debris fall through the wires while keeping eggs secure, and the sturdy carrying handle makes it comfortable to transport even when fully loaded with eggs.
Features and Benefits
- 8 Dozen Capacity: The large size accommodates up to 8 dozen eggs, making it ideal for larger operations and reducing the number of trips needed to the coop.
- Heavy-Duty Coated Wire: Construction from coated wire protects against corrosion and rust buildup, preserving the basket’s integrity over time.
- Securely Welded Joints: Every joint is welded to provide strength and durability that can withstand the weight of many eggs.
- Easy Cooling and Cleaning: The open wire design allows air circulation for rapid cooling and makes washing effortless. Debris falls through the wires naturally.
- Convenient Carrying Handle: A large handle makes transporting full baskets simple and safe during daily egg collection.
