Discounted Pricing for Crossville Altered State Acid Wash 12 x 24 Tile puts a highly practical, styled porcelain tile in reach for both residential and commercial spaces. This tile’s 24-inch length and 12-inch width give it a modern, versatile profile-long enough for a seamless, directional installation but not so large that layout options feel limited. The matte, cross-sheen finish does a good job camouflaging dust and light scuffs, so the surface maintains that clean look with less upkeep.
The gray color leans into an industrial, metal-inspired visual, which works well if you’re after an understated, urban effect without committing to real metal’s upkeep demands. This is a rectified field tile, so the edges are mechanically finished; you end up with tight, consistent grout lines that help keep the focus on the tile face rather than the joints. It’s a detail you start to appreciate after the first big install, especially when you want that almost monolithic effect on the floor or wall.
At 9.5 mm thick, you’re getting a legitimate porcelain slab that feels substantial underfoot and isn’t prone to flex or corner chipping during the install. The V3 shade variation adds some honest character to the overall field-enough movement to keep things interesting, but not so dramatic that pieces start to look distracting once they’re down. That V3 rating means you’ll get a fair mix of shade differences from piece to piece, and that’s a big part of what makes these tiles work in larger open-plan installations.
This Crossville Altered State series is made in the USA. The tile comes with a lifetime residential warranty, so you’re not left worrying about wear cycles or discoloration over the long run. Recommended for spaces where a subdued metal look is desired, this version keeps the palette grounded and neutral, letting you plug it into nearly any modern color scheme without clashing. The gray Acid Wash is subtle, not cold, and rarely reads as blue or green under different lights-which saves some guessing on job sites.
If you’re researching best-fit tile for durability, versatility, and a finish that doesn’t require constant fuss, Crossville Altered State Acid Wash in 12 x 24 size offers a smart, workhorse solution. For more details, see the official Crossville collection here.
