A flat crossbar is a mounting component used to attach light fixtures to junction boxes. The Jandorf 60208 is a zinc-plated crossbar with a threaded 1/4-inch IP connection, designed for use with light fixtures that have matching 1/4 IP nipples.
When mounting a light fixture, a crossbar provides the connection point between the fixture and the junction box, enabling proper installation. The threaded 1/4 IP connection works with standard fixture nipples to create a secure mounting solution.
