Jonathan Green Black Beauty Shady Nooks is a premium grass seed mixture specially formulated to thrive in the challenging conditions of shaded yards. Whether your lawn struggles with deep tree shade, damp soil, or dry conditions under dense canopies, this cool-season blend is engineered to survive and flourish where standard grass seed mixtures fail. The endophyte-enhanced formula improves insect resistance while the carefully selected turfgrass varieties work together to deliver dense, attractive turf even in the darkest corners of your landscape.
This shade-adapted seed mixture is ideal for homeowners seeking a lush green lawn in areas that receive limited sunlight. It performs exceptionally well between and under extremely densely shaded trees, and grows reliably in both wet and dry shady conditions. The resulting dark-green turf enhances curb appeal while requiring less fertilizer and water than competing shade-grass products.
