A continuous hinge (also called a piano hinge) is a full-length hinge that runs the entire door or panel width, providing uniform support and alignment. The National Hardware N148-304 is a 48-inch brass continuous hinge designed for cabinet doors, gates, furniture, and other applications where smooth, consistent operation and a refined appearance matter. Its extended length distributes weight evenly across the entire span, preventing sagging and warping while delivering reliable performance in both residential and commercial settings.
The brass finish offers a timeless golden appearance and natural corrosion resistance, making this hinge suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is surface mounted and secured with screws, including countersink hardware.
